Bella Hadid's Orange-and-Camel Color Combination Is Perfect for Fall Festivities

Our take

The quiet confidence of a well-chosen color palette speaks volumes, and Bella Hadid’s recent embrace of orange and camel tones for fall is a perfect illustration of that principle. It’s a move that feels both deeply rooted in classic autumnal aesthetics and refreshingly modern, a duality that aligns perfectly with the sensibilities of the discerning woman. While trends come and go with dizzying speed, this pairing possesses a timeless quality, suggesting a move away from fleeting micro-trends and towards a more considered approach to style. The article’s focus on the immediate desire to emulate this look – prompting searches for pumpkin patches rather than shopping links – is particularly telling, highlighting a shift towards experiences and atmosphere over purely material acquisition. This resonates with a broader cultural movement towards mindful consumption and prioritizing experiences. We've seen similar appreciation for understated elegance in pieces like those showcased in [Barbara Palvin Exudes Cool in Paige Fall 2026], demonstrating a continued desire for effortless style. Furthermore, the enduring appeal of classic jewelry, as seen in [Bella Hadid Just Wore the Elegant Chopard Jewelry Trend That Hasn't Gone Out of Style in 50 Years], underscores the value placed on pieces that transcend fleeting trends.

The significance of Hadid’s styling choice extends beyond mere aesthetics; it’s a reflection of a broader shift in how luxury is perceived and consumed. The era of overt displays of wealth and logo-mania feels increasingly out of step with contemporary values. Instead, there’s a growing appreciation for subtlety, quality, and a sense of quiet confidence. The orange and camel combination embodies this ethos perfectly—it's warm, inviting, and undeniably sophisticated without being ostentatious. It's the visual equivalent of a cashmere sweater and a perfectly brewed cup of tea: comforting, luxurious, and inherently elegant. This aligns with the broader trends identified in [Elegant Dressers From Paris to New York Agree: These Are the 5 Most Polished Ways to Style Your Jeans This Autumn], showcasing a preference for refined basics and intentional styling over chasing the latest fleeting fad. The understated nature of the color combination also allows for greater versatility, seamlessly integrating into a variety of wardrobes and personal styles.

This isn’t about following a trend; it's about adopting a mood. The pairing evokes a sense of groundedness and connection to nature, aligning with a broader cultural yearning for authenticity and simplicity. It’s a palette that whispers of cozy evenings, crisp air, and the beauty of the changing seasons. The fact that the article focuses on the emotional response—the immediate desire to seek out autumnal experiences—is key. It demonstrates that style is increasingly intertwined with well-being and a desire to cultivate a meaningful lifestyle. This also speaks to the power of influencers to inspire not just purchasing decisions, but also a shift in perspective and a renewed appreciation for the simple pleasures of life. It's a gentle nudge towards a more intentional and thoughtful approach to both style and living.

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to observe whether this orange and camel pairing becomes a defining aesthetic of the season or simply serves as a catalyst for a broader appreciation of warm, earthy tones. Will we see other influencers and designers embrace similar palettes, or will this remain a signature look for Hadid? More importantly, will this trend solidify the shift towards quiet luxury and a more considered approach to style, moving beyond the constant churn of micro-trends and towards a more enduring sense of personal expression? The answer likely lies in the continued embrace of authenticity and a desire for style that reflects not just what we wear, but who we are.

There's no time to waste when Bella Hadid debuts a new street style look. Hadid-approved pieces always run the risk of selling out in record time. But on September 16, I didn't search for ways to shop her orange-and-camel color combination. I checked Google Maps for the nearest pumpkin patch or apple orchard: She got me in the spirit for signature fall fashion and festivities.

The second I saw Hadid wearing such spot-on seasonal shades in New York City, Ella Fitzgerald's "Autumn in New York" started playing in my head. Her stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, continued the week's dress series with a three-quarter-length sleeve style from the L.A.-based label Oddli. Beige buttons beneath the chic boat neckline popped against the pumpkin-tinted piece, which is sadly already sold out. (The style is still available in other colors.)

It was a crisp 65-degree day in NYC, so Hadid layered a corduroy, camel-colored coat on top. By itself, the mini-and-outerwear-moment would've made her the best-dressed guest at any local cider mill. But her accessories took the daytime look to a new level of festive.

From there, Hadid styled knee-high Sergio Rossi boots with Staud's new Maude Carryall Bag, both in rich chocolate brown colors. Not only did her orange-tinted sunglasses from Side Eye NYC get the moody autumn memo, but Hadid also wrapped a red-and-cream gingham bandana around her head (which matched the pattern on a picnic blanket you might bring to a pumpkin patch).

To finish the made-for-fall outfit, she sourced Chopard for a $44,800 watch, a slim rose gold bangle, and matching hoop earrings.

Because she's Bella Hadid—a style icon and no stranger to Fashion Month trends—her orange-and-camel look wasn't just a master class in seasonal dressing. Tangerine attire played a part in some of Fall 2026's most interesting color combinations, including cool blue and orange at Prada. Meanwhile, on Onitsuka Tiger's catwalk, models showcased amber-colored velvet looks with plum purses. Before long, Marni went full jack-o-lantern mode with a satin carrot-colored shift dress and a black drop-waist belt.

Orange and camel also earned a color combination endorsement from Calvin Klein and Ferragamo. For the former, creative director Veronica Leoni paired an apricot mock-neck dress with warm-toned tan stilettos. Then, Ferragamo blended the two contrasting colors into one collarless quilted coat.

So, when I visit my local pumpkin or apple patch in an orange-and-camel look, my fellow pickers won't know I'm wearing a fresh-from-the-runway color combination with Hadid's endorsement. But I will, and that's all that matters. To join me in serving a look at your local fall fest, shop the pieces below.
