Daisy Edgar-Jones Wore This Exact Fake Tan for Her Natural, Sun-Kissed Glow

The subtle art of achieving a believable, sun-kissed glow has long been a pursuit of the discerning beauty enthusiast. It's a testament to the evolving sophistication of the industry, moving beyond overtly orange tones to embrace nuanced, natural-looking radiance. The recent spotlight on Daisy Edgar-Jones’ choice of faux tan, lauded by beauty editors as “one of the best I've tried,” underscores this shift. It’s not merely about replicating a tan; it’s about capturing the essence of effortless, healthy-looking skin. This aligns perfectly with the current aesthetic—a preference for understated elegance and a rejection of overly manufactured appearances, a sensibility echoed in trends we’ve been tracking, such as the quiet luxury aesthetic showcased in First Margot, Now Daisy—Those With Taste Are Wearing the Jacket Trend Owned by Every Cool Londoner. The focus is on enhancing, not masking, natural beauty, and a well-chosen faux tan can be a powerful tool in achieving that.

The endorsement from a celebrity known for her understated style and impeccable taste amplifies the significance. Edgar-Jones’ beauty choices are consistently observed and emulated; her “effortless makeup” is a recurring topic of fascination. This isn't a haphazard endorsement, but rather a reflection of a broader movement toward a more curated and intentional approach to beauty. It speaks to a growing consumer desire for products that deliver visible results without sacrificing a sense of naturalness. This trend is further solidified by the long-standing praise for a particular face tan, championed by seasoned beauty editors – a sentiment we've long acknowledged, as evidenced by 10+ Years of Being a Beauty Editor Qualifies Me to Say That This Is the Best Face Tan Ever Made. The repeated validation across multiple sources establishes a compelling case for the product's efficacy and its alignment with current beauty ideals.

The rise of high-quality, believable faux tans represents a significant evolution within the beauty industry. Gone are the days of streaky, unnatural results. Formulations have advanced considerably, utilizing innovative ingredients and application techniques to create a seamless, skin-like finish. The emphasis now is on delivering a gradual, buildable tan that mimics the natural effects of sun exposure without the harmful consequences. This mirrors broader trends within the beauty space, where consumers are increasingly prioritizing skincare benefits and mindful consumption. The upcoming seasonal trends further confirm this focus on radiant, healthy-looking skin, as highlighted in 6 Autumn/Winter 2026 Beauty Trends That Are About to Dominate the New Season, demonstrating a continued prioritization of luminosity and a nuanced approach to achieving a desired aesthetic.

Ultimately, the quiet endorsement of Daisy Edgar-Jones’ faux tan isn't just about a single product; it's a reflection of a larger cultural shift. It signifies a move away from overt displays of beauty towards a more refined, intentional approach that prioritizes natural radiance and understated elegance. As the line between skincare and cosmetics continues to blur, and consumers become more discerning about the ingredients and formulations they choose, what new innovations in faux tanning technology will further refine this pursuit of a believable, sun-kissed glow?

Daisy Edgar-Jones is easily our beauty team's biggest celebrity beauty crush. From that fringe to her effortless makeup, we all want to know Daisy Edgar-Jones' beauty tips. And when she stepped out at the London premiere of Sense and Sensibility, it wasn't her stunning hair or makeup that I first noticed. Instead, it was her naturally sun-kissed tan.

Celebrity tanning artist James Harknett was behind her glow, who tells me he used Three Warriors for her tan ahead of the London premiere. Harknett used the professional tanning mist on Daisy, however, he tells me that it is the exact formula found in the Three Warriors Self-Tanning mousse, meaning we can all achieve the same naturally bronzed look at home.

Days later at the Dublin premiere, her glow remains totally flawless, and I've never added a fake tan to my basket faster. The brand is loved by beauty editors, too. I count the Hydrabronze Face Tan Drops as my holy grail to give my complexion a healthy radiance, and it has one of the best colours I've tried out of all the tanning drops I've tried. Now I'll be adding the self-tanning mousse to my routine to revive the glow on my limbs as we head into the colder months.
