Looking for sustainable fabric suppliers (seaweed‑based)

Our take

Hello, everyone! We are a group of entrepreneurship students from the Philippines, passionately exploring the world of sustainable fashion and eco-materials. Our focus is on seaweed-based fabrics, and we’re eager to connect with suppliers who share our vision. We’ve discovered some innovative companies like SeaCELL™, PYRATEX, and Keel Labs, but we know there’s more out there. If you have contacts, minimum order info, or success stories related to seaweed textiles, we would love to hear from you.

Hi everyone! We’re entrepreneurship students from the Philippines working on a business plan focused on sustainable fashion/eco‑materials, and we’re specifically interested in seaweed‑based fabrics or textile suppliers that we could potentially partner with or source from.

We’ve found some examples of companies/innovators in this space, and thought the community might know more. Seaweed‑based fabric suppliers we’ve come across were SeaCELL™ , PYRATEX, Keel Labs (Kelsun™), and a bit of general textile manufacturers in China offering seaweed fiber fabrics in alibaba.

We’re hoping to find:
✅ Suppliers that ship internationally to the Philippines
✅ Contacts or minimum order info (MOQs, pricing)
✅ People who have already used seaweed textiles in small‑batch fashion or product making

If anyone has supplier contacts, verified links, sourcing platforms (Alibaba/Global Sources/etc.), or success stories pitching to manufacturers, please share!
