Lucy&Yak Patrons, Please Help Me with Sizing!!

Hi guys im planning to get the Mullen dungarees, but I’m not too sure on the sizing because upon cross-referencing the model photos, reviews and the sizing chart, something’s not adding up and customer service is terrible. I don’t live in the UK so returns are basically a non-option.

I am 5ft 5 (about 168cm) and according to the size chart I’m in between size 8 and 10. The reviews said to size down but the model is wearing a uk10 and I feel like we have a similar fit (except shes 5’9).

If youre familiar with the fit what should I wear? And for someone of my height, does the leg of the pant fall over the shoe like in the models’ pics? Please help!! Btw are the Ali ones also the same fit?

Btw I think the models are wearing Tall versions even though they’re slightly shorter than the recommended height for Tall (5’10). I think Lucy & Yak need to have models of shorter height like 5’7 to give a better idea of what the clothes look like on people of average height. I emailed them about this and they said they already use models of different body profiles…load of bull.
