Princess Kate, Princess Diana and Harriet Sperling's Favorite Sneakers Are Under $25 for Amazon Prime Day

The enduring appeal of understated elegance continues to resonate, and Amazon Prime Day’s spotlight on Superga trainers, favored by Princess Kate, Princess Diana, and stylist Harriet Sperling, is a perfect illustration. It’s not simply about a sale; it’s about the democratization of timeless style. The fact that these royally-approved sneakers are available for under $25 during Prime Day speaks volumes about a broader shift away from ostentatious displays of wealth toward a more considered, quiet luxury aesthetic. This mirrors the ongoing conversations within our community, as seen in the [General Discussion - June 23, 2026] thread, where members regularly explore the nuances of cultivating a refined personal style without succumbing to fleeting trends. The accessible price point, combined with the royal endorsement, creates a compelling narrative: impeccable taste doesn't need to break the bank. It’s a message particularly relevant within a climate of conscious consumerism.

The significance extends beyond a single footwear deal. Princess Diana’s fondness for Supergas was well-documented, and Princess Kate's continued embrace of them solidifies their place as a staple in the wardrobes of women who prioritize both comfort and sophistication. This echoes a broader fashion landscape where practicality and versatility are increasingly valued. We’ve seen a surge in demand for “slow lux” pieces – items that are well-made, enduring, and stand apart from fast fashion’s relentless cycle of newness, as evidenced by the promotion of Lawrence Pizzi’s [Zero Carbon Footprint Gender-Neutral Slow Lux Collection]. The Superga, in its unassuming simplicity, embodies this ethos perfectly. It’s a piece that can be dressed up or down, worn year after year, and transcends fleeting trends. Even a simple style query, like those posed in the [Daily Questions Thread June 23, 2026], often circles back to the desire for foundational pieces that form the bedrock of a curated wardrobe.

Moreover, the amplification of this story through mainstream media outlets like *Marie Claire* highlights the power of influencer marketing and the evolving definition of luxury. It’s no longer solely about designer logos and exorbitant price tags; it’s about the lifestyle and values associated with a brand. The Superga’s appeal lies in its understated elegance – a quality that aligns seamlessly with the principles of mindful living and personal authenticity. The shared endorsement from multiple influential figures further reinforces this perception, positioning the sneakers as a symbol of effortless style and understated confidence. This isn't about purchasing a status symbol; it’s about investing in a piece that reflects a personal aesthetic and a commitment to quality over quantity. It's a subtle but powerful distinction that resonates with a discerning consumer base.

Ultimately, the Prime Day promotion of Superga trainers serves as a fascinating case study in the evolving landscape of luxury and style. It demonstrates the enduring power of classic designs, the influence of royal endorsements, and the growing demand for accessible, sustainable fashion choices. It invites us to consider: will this shift toward quiet luxury and accessible elegance continue to shape the future of fashion consumption, or is this a fleeting trend fueled by a specific moment in time? The answer, perhaps, lies in observing how consumers continue to redefine their relationship with style, prioritizing both personal expression and mindful choices.

Amazon Prime Day is here once again, and as a royal editor, one of my favorite things to do is comb the sale for royally-approved fashion finds. This year, Prime Day—which runs from June 23 to 26—includes plenty of regal style deals, including the Superga sneakers that the Princess of Wales has worn on repeat for the past decade.

Royals have been wearing the brand's 2750 Cotu classic canvas sneakers since Princess Diana first sported them in the late ‘90s, and Princess Kate has kept the tradition going, wearing hers at least a dozen times since 2016. The good news for Amazon shoppers is the black shade of Kate’s beloved $75 shoes is now marked down to just $23 for Prime Day.

The Princess of Wales owns the laid-back shoes in both olive green and white, and has worn them everywhere from the Chelsea Flower Show to a regatta. And Princess Anne’s new daughter-in-law, Harriet Sperling, has also joined the Superga fan club, wearing a white pair to the Burghley Horse Trials alongside now-husband Peter Phillips.

Although they're not an official Prime Day deal, Kate and Harriet's white Superga sneakers are currently a steal at $35, so now's the time to grab a fresh pair before they're back to their pre-Prime prices.
