| Context: Why ISO specifically None of my shirts have long enough sleeves to actually cover my wrists and hands (they mostly fit 3/4ths length on my arms, and I don't want to spend the money on new long sleeve shirts with longer sleeves). I go out quite a bit (my city has wide streets, empty lots, and a lack of shade/trees), and it's annoying to apply the extra sunscreen and reapply to my hands every 80 minutes. I'd rather just have some gloves to protect my skin (especially if the only other part of my body that needs extra sun protection is my head). Currently found options: Polyester, fingerless, and mono-brand I've mostly found either cheaper open finger sleeve styles or sold by Coolibar at retailers like Nordstrom or Wholesale platforms like Amazon. I've had good experiences with a pair of sleeves I picked up at Daiso (I wear them a lot), but they have started to look a bit worn out over the past 1-2 years, they don't protect the finger skin, and I've heard concerns about microplastic shedding from polyester fabrics. I've noticed a lot of the formal clothes in boutiques and photo campaigns near me lean heavily into vintage styling (suits and such), but they always remove the accessories that would make that kinda clothing even somewhat functional to wear (gloves, parasols, hats, square scarves, etc) and are never attuned to the climate my city experiences (100F+ for August isn't that unusual, and 90F is somewhat cool. Apparently some of the northern or more coastal cities don't get as hot as long, which might be why the national brands always promote unseasonably warm clothing). I'm always a sucker for a nice color or pattern. They always go with everything, but so hard to find. My Daiso UV sleeves have a light to dark blue ombre kinda pattern, but something bolder would be nice. I'd take a neutral if there aren't other styles available, but color suits me better. Cotton, linen, or some other breathable fiber would be nice. Emphasizing again that I'm only looking for summer gloves, so they will be washed frequently (sweaty) and being 'warming' is an anti feature. TLDR: In search of summer gloves for hot weather UV protection. I'd prefer something both full finger and long enough to cover a good portion of my arms. I do not want winter gloves, since I already own some and warming clothing is not useful for the majority of the year in my region.
