Hello everyone, I am excited to share my journey of building a small business with a profound mission: to reduce clothing waste and champion sustainable fashion. Each year, millions of pounds of clothing end up in landfills, and the consequences of fast fashion linger for decades. What began as a simple thrifting endeavor has evolved into a meaningful commitment to sustainability. I am seeking support to expand this effort through increased inventory, eco-friendly packaging, and sourcing costs.

Hi everyone,

I am building a small business with a bigger mission: reducing clothing waste and promoting sustainable fashion.

Every year, millions of pounds of clothing end up in landfills. Fast fashion moves quickly, but its environmental impact lasts for decades.

What started as thrifting has grown into something more meaningful. Each item saved is one less item contributing to overproduction and landfill overflow.

I am raising funds to help expand this sustainability effort through:

• increasing rescued inventory

• eco friendly packaging & supplies

• transportation & sourcing costs

My goal is to make sustainable fashion more accessible and appealing, while building a brand rooted in environmental responsibility.

starting a brand ??so having my own fashion brand has been literally my dream since I was like 6 and now that I'm 19 and starting to consider actually having a go at it I want to know what you think are the most important parts to consider and any tips you can think of! the goal would be a slow fashion brand- made to order pieces and mostly using dead stock fabrics so when it's gone it's gone I think it's such an interesting way to keep continuous interest and a bit of fun seeing what's next plus maybe like a couple base items that I would order fabric to keep them the same all the time if that makes sense? it would be a way to support slow fashion and sustainability by not letting those fabrics go to landfills maybe you guys will bring me back down to earth lol and it's not a realistic idea but I think it would be so so cool and I've been thinking about it non stop for so long I just can't get the image out of my head submitted by /u/Strict_Platypus_7411 [link] [comments]
