The 2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Is Almost Over But the Best Fragrances Are Still in Stock
Our take

The allure of a fragrance sale is undeniable, a siren song for those of us who understand the power of scent to shape a mood, a memory, an entire identity. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale’s late-stage push on fragrances, as highlighted in this recent piece, isn’t just about securing a deal; it’s about curating a personal atmosphere, a subtle declaration of self. It’s a reminder that fragrance is an investment, a considered choice, and the opportunity to acquire those beloved scents at a reduced price feels particularly rewarding. For those seeking a deeper understanding of the current beauty landscape, it's worth exploring what truly warrants the investment, as detailed in I've Tried the Lot—These Are the Charlotte Tilbury Products *Actually* Worth the Hype. And with summer still lingering, ensuring your fragrance selection can withstand the elements is key, a concept beautifully illustrated by I'm Prioritizing Life This Summer—10 Sweat-, Dance-, and Dine-Proof Makeup Products Besting the Sticky Heat, proving that beauty and resilience can coexist.
The inclusion of home scents alongside the more traditional perfume and cologne offerings is a significant shift, reflecting a broader cultural trend toward creating immersive, sensory experiences within the home. We’re no longer simply decorating spaces; we’re crafting atmospheres. This signals a move beyond surface-level aesthetics to a deeper engagement with how our surroundings impact our well-being. The home fragrance market has exploded in recent years, fueled by the pandemic’s emphasis on indoor living and a growing desire for comfort and tranquility. Nordstrom recognizing this and featuring these items prominently within their Anniversary Sale demonstrates an understanding of the evolving consumer priorities—a focus on holistic self-care that extends beyond personal grooming to encompass the entire environment. The emphasis on both personal and home fragrances positions Nordstrom as a destination for those seeking to cultivate a complete sensory narrative, rather than just a singular product purchase.
This late-sale push also speaks to the changing dynamics of the luxury market. The days of rigidly defined seasons and exclusive product launches are fading. Consumers now expect accessibility and flexibility, and retailers are adapting accordingly. Offering extended sale periods, especially on high-value items like fragrances, is a strategic move to capture those who may have missed the initial window or are simply delaying their purchases. Furthermore, the fact that these discounts are still available suggests a robust inventory, potentially indicating a shift in fragrance trends or a more nuanced understanding of consumer demand. It's not about creating artificial scarcity; it's about meeting the customer where they are, offering value without sacrificing the perception of exclusivity. It’s a subtle dance between accessibility and aspiration, a hallmark of modern luxury.
Looking ahead, it will be fascinating to observe how retailers continue to blur the lines between personal and home fragrance categories. We can anticipate even more integrated offerings, perhaps curated scent pairings designed to complement both personal style and interior design. The focus will likely shift further toward personalization, with brands leveraging data and technology to recommend scents tailored to individual preferences and lifestyles. The question remains: will the emphasis on sensory experiences extend beyond fragrance to encompass other areas of the home, creating a truly immersive and personalized living environment? The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale’s focus on fragrance hints at a future where our homes are not just spaces we inhabit, but extensions of our identities.
The words fragrance and sale are like a bat signal to me, and when money can be saved on my favorite cosmetics, I’m going to answer the call every time. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends in just a few days—you still have until Sunday August 9th to shop—but some of my all-time favorite perfumes are still majorly discounted. I’m talking skin scents that I obsess over, TikTok-viral fragrances that are more than worth the hype, and even a few niche options that anyone—experienced nose or a newbie to the space—would be happy to indulge in.
Of course, fragrance isn’t just limited to the perfumes on your body. In fact, I’m on the hunt for my apartment’s new signature fall scent, and wouldn’t you know? There are candles, Puras, and diffusers that are all a part of this year’s discounted selections.
All that said, I never recommend just buying something and hoping for the best, especially if you can’t go into a store to experience it before you pull the trigger. But that’s where I come in. Not only have I scoured the sale section for the best fragrance deals worth paying attention to, but I’ve also tested each of these scents personally, so when I say they’re good, know that everything from the complexity of the notes to the sillage is next level.
Ahead, find my curated list of the best fragrance deals at the 2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale worth adding to your scent collection or gifting for the upcoming holiday season.

Best Citrus Fragrance

Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc is wildly popular, but I have to admit: I think Soleil Neige is miles better. The cozy citrus scent has notes like bergamot, musk, and orange flower, but has sillage for days and will absolutely leave a scent trail behind when you walk into a room. Plus, with this set, you get a full and travel-sized fragrance for less than $200.
Review: “A very fresh and clean fragrance with a touch of sweetness in the background. It’s like laundry day but better. I wore this during the day, but it can also be worn at night and especially for date night. It’s light, crisp, and clean, non-intrusive, and can definitely be worn at the office as well. I actually really love this.” — Nordstrom
Best Discovery Set

At this point, everyone likely knows and loves Le Labo. Still, if you’re newer to the brand (or stick to your favorite scent from the line as I do), this discovery set is fantastic for deepening your knowledge of the house. In fact, I’ve found some new favorites alongside my beloved Another 13: Rose 31 and The Matcha, a skin scent floral and citrusy wood, respectively.
Review: “If I had to choose my own set, it would include these exact fragrances. It is a great assortment of great scents that can cover every occasion/whim. I have full-size bottles of 3 of the fragrances, but purchased these smaller sizes for travel. The bottles in this pack are larger than those in prior year Anniversary sale assortments. A minor detail, but the only thing I would love is if these bottles were refillable.” — Nordstrom
Best Luxury Gift Set

Maison Francis Kurkdjian is most famous for its ultra-popular scent, Baccarat Rouge 540. Whether you're a massive fan of the scent or are slowly introducing yourself to the house, this trio not only features the cult classic, but also two other scents from the line. Grand Soir is a spicy vanilla amber that is the definition of sultry, and Kurky (a 2026 Marie Claire Fragrance Award winner!) is a playful fruity musk that’s perfect for everyday wear.
Review: “I’ve tried all three of these scents and am confident that this discovery scent would delight pretty much any fragrance lover. Whether you like a sweet, airy ambergris or a playful gourmand, wearing these alone or layered with other scents is all but guaranteed to make you fall in love with this fragrance house.” — Ariel Baker, Beauty Writer
Best Rose Scent

Obsessed with smelling like a gorgeous bouquet of the most beautiful flowers? Parfum de Marly’s Delina will help you with that. A combination of Turkish rose, Lily of the Valley, and peony gives way to fruity notes like lychee and rhubarb. Once the base notes get settled on the skin, musk and cashmere give the perfume an almost creamy finish. Tack on the travel-sized version of the extrait edition of the scent that you also get in this set, and you will be the best person in any room.
Review: “I’m a flight attendant, and I get complimented on this perfume at least 3-4 times a day. It’s soft and clean. One of the nicest perfumes you can own.” — Nordstrom
Best Niche Gift Set

Continuing on the rose train, Diptyque’s Eau Rose is for people who love a more realistic floral and want it from a niche brand that most people around you would barely know about. This perfume combines damascena and centifolia roses, two of the finest floral ingredients in perfumery. This set also features the hair perfume, perfect for when you want a lighter fragrance or want to spray it in your hair for the ultimate scent bubble.
Review: “This is a gorgeous, natural rose scent. It opens green, but that subsides as it wears. At first the green note, artichoke, threw me off, but I now adore it. This is not as sweet as the EDT, but has more depth. They are different enough to warrant owning both of you like rose.”
Best Deodorant

Every beauty editor and enthusiast that I know is obsessed with this deodorant and for good reason. It’s scented with notes of the perfume that shares the same name, with Lily of the Valley, Moroccan jasmine, and sandalwood leading the charge. Plus, this set comes with three bottles, so you’ll be set on deodorant for at least a year.
Review: “I will never buy regular deodorant again. I bought this blindly and had no idea what it smelled like. I saw someone using it daily before working out, and I knew I needed to try it. I can’t express how amazing this deodorant is. It is so fresh, stays on all day, and I don’t scratch under my arms as I did with other brands' deodorants. It’s a beautiful powdery smell, and it pairs so well with my favorite fragrances. Don’t miss out on this deodorant. Buy it TODAY!” — Nordstrom
Best Home Fragrance Set

As for my home, I will use any and everything to make my space smell good. Thankfully, this Jo Malone duo features a candle and a diffuser, in my favorite scent from the line: Wood Sage and Sea Salt. It gives your space that luxe seaside vibe you'd find in any Nancy Meyers film.
Review: “My home is the hangout spot during the summer. We have visitors every weekend, and my family loves it. With all of the running in and out of the house (Kids/Dogs especially), my home will start to smell like the outside. Hot - Humid - Chlorine - No Thank You. Anytime I find an air freshener I think I like, the smell has already left within 24 hours. I am so thankful to have been gifted the Jomalone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt Diffuser. Every person who has walked into my home comments on how wonderful it smells. Sometimes I take it to my bathroom while I bathe, and it just adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I have purchased several since as gifts for family and friends. 10/10 recommend!” — Nordstrom
Best Electric Diffuser

I am obsessed with my Pura and have them all over my home. I’ve tried quite a few of the plug-in scents, but my mom is obsessed with the brand Glasshouse, and in turn, I’ve become obsessed with them too. This gift set features four of the brand’s deliciously fruity-floral scents, including one of my favorites: Kyoto in Bloom.
Review: “Literally my favorite smell on earth. Can't get enough. Sets the perfect greeting for entering a home!” — Nordstrom
