Does anyone else go through phases where photography stops being fun?
I’ve noticed I go through cycles where I’m really motivated to shoot and carry a camera everywhere, and then other times where I barely touch it for weeks or months.
It’s not that I stop liking photography — it just feels harder to find inspiration during those periods.
Do other photographers experience this too? And if you do, what helps you get back into it?
Edit: Thanks for all the responses. It’s nice knowing other photographers experience this too. It makes me feel less alone and encourages me to get back out and shoot again. Also just to add — I’m not a pro, I just enjoy photography as a hobby.
