Tips on getting into commercial modeling/acting?

Hi everyone! I'd like to ask for some tips on getting into commercial modeling and acting.

I'm located in Toronto, I was with an agency previously and they provided a few acting classes. I only received one job with them in 2 years for short documentary episode. I'm no longer with that agency now!

I've done a few TFP shoots and have some photos, but they are less commerciall-y and more creative/editorial! I'm only 5'4, so I know that route wont work out for me.

So far im planning to...
- take some digital and submit them to agencies
- build a portfolio with some commercial-style shoots

do you guys have any other tips?

Also, I'm wondering how I should wear my hair for my shoots
I have a big head of 3b curls, (see pic with red shirt) but I usually wear it stretched out or straight. should I go for my usual hairstyle or do you think the agencies will like curly hair more?

and in case anyone is asks about measurements
5'4
110 pounds
waist 26
shirt xs-s

I'm still considering if this is even something I should pursue

thank you in advance!
