love their lash tech’s work but feel drained by how much they vent?
I’m torn.
I love the way my lash girl does my lashes — genuinely the best I’ve ever had. But lately every appointment has turned into her unloading a lot of personal stuff and asking for advice. It’s like I’m suddenly the therapist instead of the client.
I don’t want to be rude, and I don’t want to switch techs because her work is amazing… but I also don’t want to spend the whole appointment talking or giving emotional support. I just want to zone out, relax, and get my lashes done.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you set boundaries without making it awkward?
