How can i style this dress for my birthday dinner?

I want look my best for my bday dinner and although this dress is cute, i feel like its too plain on its own for a bday Dinner. So what else can i add? What shoes? Fleece leggings or stockings maybe? Chain? Please tell me how can i best style it, Any opinions and recommendations would be appreciated, thanks!
