Genuine question for people who use light therapy regularly, how did you actually know it was working?

I’m a couple weeks in now and I keep going back and forth between thinking nothing is happening and then randomly feeling like my skin looks a bit calmer than usual. There’s no dramatic difference at all which is what’s throwing me off, but at the same time I’m noticing I’m not getting as irritated in the areas where I normally would and my overall tone might be a little more even in certain lighting.

The problem is it’s so subtle that I can’t tell if this is just placebo or if this is actually how it’s supposed to work over time. I feel like I’m constantly checking my skin and overanalyzing every little thing which is making it even harder to judge.

For those who’ve been consistent with it longer did you have a moment where it became obvious or is it more like small changes stacking up until one day you realize your skin just looks healthier overall? Also curious if anyone noticed differences depending on the device they were using because I feel like that might play a role too!
