Lake Garda for 4 nights

Hi all, I am planning a trip to North Italy (possibly 13-17th May, before it gets too hot for us) - thought about Venice but settled on 4 nights in Lake Garda with half a day or so in Verona before our flight back.

I have been doing research, and really want to experience Riva and Sirmione, as well as possibly Limone? (suggestions are very welcome).

I am unsure how to divide our hotels, for example should I spend 2 nights in Sirmione and 2 nights in Riva? Or should I spend all 4 in a town halfway between? We will probably only have a backpack each as luggage, so moving hotel isn't as big of an issue than if we had big suitcases. At first I even considered a different hotel every night going around the lake, but maybe that is too busy as we still want a relaxing holiday.

Does anyone have any advice on what towns we should visit during our 4 nights, (5.5 days ish) and whether we should stay in the same hotel or if it is a good idea to move? Or should we stick to one side?

Many thanks in advance!
