How to keep wool safe between wears without overwashing

A carpet beetle circling near your wool pieces is the kind of quiet alarm that makes you rethink everything. You're doing the right thing, folding between wears, avoiding overwashing, but pests don't care about good intentions. For rotation pieces, consider cedar blocks or lavender sachets tucked nearby. They deter without chemicals. Also, a brief airing after wear removes the scents that attract larvae. If you're refining your seasonal rituals, *A Week of Rituals, From Cleaning to Pumpkin Launching* offers a similar intentionality.
